Top Scratch Resistant Acrylic Sheet Supplier

Thickness from 1.5mm to 25mm, Cut to size

Top Supplier of Scratch Resistant Acrylic Sheet

Scratch-resistant acrylic is designed to offers greater resistance to scratch and chemicals than the standard acrylic sheets, the surface hardness is 3H or 6H. Someone calls it “Scratch-resistant plexiglass”. Comparing with standard acrylic sheets, scratch-resistant plexiglass also provide outstanding optical property, great strength, and excellent processability. It is an ideal material to replace glass for artwork display, acrylic jewelry display boxes, flat-panel monitors, etc.

As the top supplier of scratch-resistant acrylic sheets in China, UVPLASTIC uses two technologies to manufacture it, “coating technology” and “changing the performance of raw material”. Otherwise, UVPLASTIC provides an integrated machining solution to global clients.

UVAC-SR-COScratch-resistant acrylic by coating technologyCoating technology helps to get a harder surface of acrylic sheets, but it can’t change the performance of the internal acrylic sheet. Can’t be bent nor thermal formed
UVAC-SR-FUScratch-resistant acrylic by changing the performance of raw materialBy using PMMA raw material with different performance, we can manufacture high-quality scratch-resistant acrylic sheet, and internal acrylic offer the same performance. Can be bent and thermal formed

Frequently Asked Questions

UVAC-SR-CO and UVAC-SR-FU are excellent scratch-resistant acrylic, which offers great surface hardness, but UVPLASTIC used different technologies for them. Please check the detailed information.

1. Processability:

UVAC-SR-CO is manufactured by coating layers on the surface of the acrylic sheet, but they are different hardness between the surface and internal material, therefore, you can’t bend or thermal form.

UVAC-SR-FU is manufactured by using modified acrylic material, therefore, it is the same hardness between the surface and internal material, therefore, you can bend or thermal form it. But if you want to cut it, you have to use a laser cutting machine.

2. Thickness Range

ModelThickness Range
UVAC-SR-COFrom 2mm to 50mm
UVAC-SR-FUFrom 3mm to 6mm

3. Thickness Tolerance

UVAC-SR-CO adopts a normal cast plexiglass sheet as a basic sheet, therefore, the thickness tolerance is higher than UVAC-SR-FU, but UVPLASTIC has the solution to handle it.

4. Price

UVAC-SR-FU is more expensive than UVAC-SR-CO;

No. But the parent company-UVPLASTIC provides Scratch Resistant polycarbonate with 2H or 3H surface hardness.
